This Recruitment Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect when you apply for a position through our website, why we use it, how long we keep it and your rights in relation to your personal information.

Information we collect
When you submit an application through our Careers section, we may collect:
- Your full name
- Country of citizenship
- EU/non-EU status
- Country of residence, where applicable
- Relevant work experience
- English speaking and writing level
- Availability for the position
- Information about your permission to work in Cyprus or work permit/visa requirements, where applicable
- Your email address and/or Facebook profile link
- Any information you choose to provide in the optional experience section
We do not ask you to upload a CV, passport, identification document or other documents through our initial online application form.
Why we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Review your application and suitability for the position
- Contact you regarding your application
- Manage our recruitment and selection process
- Consider you for other suitable vacancies at Raphael Restaurant during the retention period
We do not use information submitted through the job application form for unrelated marketing purposes.
Legal basis for processing
We process the personal information you provide as part of your job application where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before potentially entering into an employment relationship.
We may also process certain information where necessary for our legitimate interests in managing and administering our recruitment process, provided that those interests do not override your rights and freedoms.
Where we are required to process information to comply with a legal obligation, we will process that information on the basis of the applicable legal requirement.
How long we keep your information
If your application is unsuccessful, we may retain the information you provided for up to six months after the recruitment process for the position has ended.
During this period, we may also consider you for other suitable vacancies at Raphael Restaurant.
After six months, your application information will be deleted or securely disposed of unless we are required to retain particular information for longer by law.
Who can access your information?
Your application information will only be accessible to authorised people involved in recruitment at Raphael Restaurant and, where necessary, trusted service providers used to operate, host, secure and maintain our website and email systems.
Where third-party service providers process personal information on our behalf, we require personal information to be handled appropriately and in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.
We do not sell applicants’ personal information.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
